About New Investors Real Estate
New Investors Real Estate was founded by Newton D. Thompson Sr. in 1977 in New Iberia, LA, while working as a Guidance Counselor at the local High School. He began by selling homes to the parents of his students, and later to his former students as his reputation was established in the community. In 2000 New Investors Real Estate opened an office in Baton Rouge, LA primarily focused on selling HUD Homes, managed by his son, Newton D. Thompson Jr.
New Investors Real Estate is a full-service, veteran and minority owned business operating with two South Louisiana Offices, one in Baton Rouge and the other in New Iberia, servicing the Greater Lafayette Area. We are members of the local Board of Realtors in both areas, the Greater Baton Rouge Association of Realtors and Realtor Association of Acadiana, respectively.
Newton D. Thompson Sr., a United States Marine Corp Veteran, proudly served his country during difficult times and has been equally proud to serve Louisiana families in the pursuit of their “American Dream”.
