He began by selling homes to the parents of his students, and later to his former students as his reputation for honesty and mentorship was firmly established in the community.
In 2000, New Investors Real Estate opened an office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, primarily focused on selling HUD Homes, managed by his son, Newton D. Thompson Jr. Today, our firm stands proud as a full-service, veteran and minority-owned business operating with two South Louisiana offices—one in Baton Rouge and the other in New Iberia, servicing the Greater Lafayette area.
